Dispersion of polluted particles by a pump

Large-eddy simulations were performed to model the transport of polluted particles in a canal. Just below the free surface there was a pump which spread water and some polluted particles into the environment by an irrigation system. The particles were in rest on the bottom of the canal before the pump was switched on. A report is available (in Dutch).
